Global FMCG Food business looking to expand operations and team in Australia Leadership opportunity to head up the team in Australia About Our Client Our client is a reputable player in the FMCG industry with a substantial presence in the market. With over 5000 employees, they have a strong brand and a commitment to quality products that have earned them a loyal consumer base. Job Description Develop and execute the overall business strategy for the Australian market, aligned with global and regional goals. Lead and inspire a high-performing team across sales, marketing, and operations. Drive business growth through strategic sales initiatives, marketing campaigns, and key partnerships. Represent the Australian business at the regional level, ensuring strong collaboration with the Asia headquarters. Manage P&L responsibility and optimise operational efficiency. Build relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, retailers, and industry partners Formulate and implement strategic plans to grow the business Oversee the Sales department and ensure performance targets are met Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities Ensure company goals align with the needs and requirements of the consumer base Manage budget allocation and resource distribution Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards The Successful Applicant A successful Head of Country should have: Extensive experience in a senior leadership role within the FMCG sector, ideally within food products and or snacking categories. Strong sales and marketing background with a proven track record of driving business growth. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on developing high-performing teams. Experience reporting into regional or global headquarters, with the ability to navigate a complex, matrixed environment. Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing P&L and delivering on business objectives. A hands-on, results-oriented approach, with the ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.
