Mother Duck Childcare & Kindergarten is seeking an inspiring Head of Curriculum to join our team at the Mother Duck Support Office. This senior leadership position plays a pivotal role in shaping the experiences of our educators and the children in our care. We are looking for a strong leader with exceptional interpersonal skills who can bring our philosophy to life, translating it into practice and motivating our teams to excel. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Curriculum will drive the quality of education and care across our 10 services. This role is critical in creating an environment where children can thrive, embedding meaningful curriculum programs into each service, and positioning Mother Duck as a leader in exceeding industry standards. Responsibilities: Curriculum Development and Implementation Embed an inquiry curriculum for both children and educators and make strong connections to the Early Years Learning Framework. Uphold the Philosophy, ethics and social responsibility of Mother Duck Childcare and Kindergarten. Professional Development of Educators Leading the Educational Leaders in each service to embed an inquiry curriculum for both children and educators. Facilitate quarterly Kindy Networking events and monthly Educational Leader meetings, developing a positive and collaborative professional culture. Quality Assurance and Compliance Ensure that the curriculum exceeds regulatory and National Quality standards. Through regular visits to each service monitor the quality of program delivery, and provide mentoring and support to maintain or enhance educational outcomes. Parent and Family Engagement Support services to communicate effectively with families about the curriculum, helping families understand what their children are learning and how they can support their development at home. Writing and/or approving blogs for the Mother Duck website. Research and Innovation Stay updated on the latest trends and research in early childhood education, integrating innovative practices and tools into the curriculum. Pilot new educational technologies, teaching methods, or learning programs, ensuring that Mother Duck stays competitive and relevant.
