Head of Department - Student Services - Glenala State High School Education (Organisation site)Metropolitan South Region, School and Regional Operations and Performance Division Glenala State High School is looking for two Heads of Department, Student Services to lead the Dynamic Student Services Department.The roles have been established for 12 months and have been significant in leading a pro-active approach to Student Support, Engagement and Social & Emotional Wellbeing. We are looking for leaders with proven experience and outcomes of working in the wellbeing space to improve outcomes for students.These roles are offered on a temporary full-time basis, for a period of 12 months unless otherwise determined. About the Role The key responsibilities of the role are to: Lead the case management of students to improve attendance, engagement and behaviour; Lead the Year Level Coordinators to develop and implement personal and social capabilities as part of the whole school wellbeing program; Lead the whole school approach for Positive Behaviour For Learning; Continue to develop the school's cultural and wellbeing programs and events to contribute to student and parent sense of belonging. The ideal candidates will need to have proven leadership capability and/or a knowledge and passion for working in the Student Wellbeing area.
