Head of Digital Systems Organisation/Entity: Sydney Trains Job category: Senior Executive Job location: Sydney, NSW, AU, 2000 Job reference number: 97977 Employment type: Permanent Full-Time Salary range: $0.0-$0.0 An exciting new opportunity has emerged with the role of Head of Digital Systems within the Sydney Trains Rail Operations branch. This is a high-profile strategic leadership role that will lead the facilitation of safe, successful and financially viable integration and operationalisation of new digital systems and programs of work into the Sydney Trains operating environment, and support the achievement of long term objectives for the organisation. In this role, you'll: Provide advice to the executive team and senior leaders of Sydney Trains on issues and risks on the Digital Systems program. Lead the strategic coordination and business integration of Digital Systems into Sydney Trains. Lead and drive the operational readiness to support the transformational changes of the program. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment, effective communication, and support for program initiatives. Ensure that advice between TfNSW and the branches of Sydney Trains is front and centre and risks for all programs of work are represented and highlighted in all program phases. Ensure business requirements are accurately captured, understood, and effectively managed throughout all stages of the program. This includes understanding the system, the organisational change impact, and the readiness of the organisation. Lead the endorsement of the design, development, review and implementation of required systems, policies, processes, and procedures for business group to support digital transformation objectives. Ensure each division of Sydney Trains understands the principles of new systems coming into Sydney Trains and what this means for the business. You bring a demonstrated record of achievement in leading and delivering major, large scale and complex technology and infrastructure projects in a highly industrialised operational organisation. You are an inspirational and proactive systems leader with demonstrable experience in leading large scale organisational change aligned to the implementation of new systems and programs of work within an organisation. You have the proven experience to build credibility and trust with stakeholders at all levels including front line and Unions with the reputation of successfully bringing these diverse stakeholders together to achieve optimal business outcomes. You bring a demonstrated record of achievement in the effective coordination or execution of change programs across a large-scale complex organisation. You are motivated in driving sustainable change and embedding continuous improvement across all facets including people, process, technology and systems. You are an adept communicator with the innate ability to articulate complex processes, systems and regulations into simple concepts to ensure business outcomes are delivered in a safe, reliable and efficient manner. You bring strong experience in implementing programs and initiatives to drive innovation and continuous improvement. You are an expert in driving and building a collaborative culture between multiple stakeholders, inclusive of operational areas.
