Let's talk about this role In this position, you will play a crucial role in driving a great experience for our people. You will be responsible for the development and execution of an innovative employee experience strategy that ensures our employees feel connected, empowered, well-informed and have great experiences at work. This is achieved through providing appropriate mentoring and coaching for a high performing team of communications, events, change, learning and development, wellbeing and digital employee experience professionals. Key functions of this position: The development and execution of employee communications activities including nib's content strategy, communication plans, advice, support, crisis communications and executive communications. The development and execution of an 'always on' employee listening strategy, that leverages a range of feedback tools to measure our employee experience and provide 'voice of employee' insights to leadership teams and key partners in People and Culture to drive action planning and inform employee lifecycle activities. Guiding and directing the nib Group capability and organisational development function, ensuring the foundations are set to enable effective and sustainable learning services at speed and scale. It is also accountable for the development and execution of a best practice Leadership Strategy and programs, as well as an Employee Development Strategy and accompanying suite of practices, processes and benefits. Overseeing the development, management, implementation and maintenance of the nib Group work, health and safety management system. The role will lead the development of nib's employee wellbeing strategy and working with a team of technical HSW experts, ensure effective management of workers compensation, WHS communication, consultation and training. Please note, this is a 12-month fixed term contract. Let's talk about you With a background in a complex, matrixed People & Culture environment, you will be passionate about people leadership, delivering innovative organisational change and advocating for an exceptional employee experience. More specifically, you will have: Relevant experience leading strategic people projects and working with external experts to deliver innovative programs. Experience in managing employee listening and experience strategies with a keen interest in external trends and thought leadership. Experience in designing leadership development programs and/or learning programs. Demonstrated ability to lead and work as part of a team and provide exceptional level of customer service to the business. Strong commercial acumen, high analytics and capacity to consult within a dynamic environment of a fast moving and diverse business. Strong understanding of the importance of providing high quality employee insights and HR metrics and how they can be used to inform decision making.
