Head of Engagement – RSPCA Approved Farming Scheme Carnovale Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join RSPCA Australia as the Head of Engagement for the RSPCA Approved Farming Scheme. The RSPCA Approved Farming Scheme is Australia’s leading independent certification scheme focused on animal welfare. With their mission to improve the quality of life of farmed animals, they work closely with farmers to make a positive impact on the lives of Australia’s most intensively farmed animals. More than 2.5 billion hens, pigs, chickens, turkeys, and farmed Atlantic salmon have benefitted from higher welfare conditions since the Scheme began in 1996. As Head of Engagement, you will work closely with the General Manager to drive the expansion and success of the program, building lasting relationships with producers, licensees, and industry partners. This is the perfect role for someone ready to take on a leadership position within a cause-driven organisation. About the Role In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the RSPCA Approved program by building strong relationships with producers, retailers, and other industry stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include: Business Development: Proactively seek new partnerships with producers, licensees, and retailers to grow the program. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless program execution. Operational Excellence: Work closely with marketing, certification, and communications teams to maintain program quality and compliance. Advocacy: Represent RSPCA Approved at industry events, driving awareness and engagement with key audiences. About You RSPCA Australia is looking for an engaging professional with: Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, business development, or related fields. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. A strong understanding of agriculture, food production, or animal welfare industries. A commitment to the continuous improvement of farm animal welfare standards.
