Job Description Be responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management for our operations control function (Regional Operations Centre) for QantasLink Play a key role in improving our delivery of operational excellence and customer satisfaction Full-time permanent position based at our Mascot Campus, Sydney As the Head of Regional Operations Centre for QantasLink, you will provide strategic leadership and ensure regulatory compliance and seamless operational management across the Regional Operations Centre (ROC) functions. You’ll play a key role in overseeing efficient operational control for QantasLink and other AOC’s including Eastern Australia, Sunstate Airlines, National Jet Systems and Network Aviation. In this role, you will collaborate across functions to ensure that resources, facilities, resilience, and contingency plans are effectively in place to meet the scheduled targets and deliver both operational excellence and superior customer satisfaction. What you’ll bring to the role: Minimum of 10+ years leading operational control functions, ideally in transport, logistics, or a similarly complex environment with large scale teams and highly complex functions Experience managing crisis management scenarios, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including the confidence to engage, debate and facilitate stakeholder meetings at CEO level Strategic mindset with a forward-thinking approach and ability to understand “big picture” Experience leading a team of direct reports, with a focus on development and coaching An innovative and lateral thinker with a proactive approach, able to analyse critically, resolve complex issues and find creative solutions Willingness to be on-call for operational support Why Qantas?
