Job Description

Join the team redefining how the world experiences design. Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time-consuming, and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point. Where and how you can work Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under to a hub in San Francisco, which is now home to our US operations. We offer flexibility in how and where you work. We trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals. What you’d be doing in this role As Canva continues to scale, change remains part of our DNA. This will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve. At the moment, this role is focused on: Driving cohesive and integrated MAU, Annualized Revenue, Revenue, Bookings, and Billings forecasts, working cross-functionally with Product, Growth, Sales, Marketing, and International Operations. Enabling reporting & insights across the topline, partnering with other teams across Canva to foster a performance-driven culture. Connecting long-range strategy to operational planning and execution, ensuring alignment across financial and business objectives. Managing financial performance across revenue, implementing scalable planning frameworks, mechanisms, and processes. Enhancing financial close and re-forecast cycles, collaborating with FP&A, Finance, and Business Leaders. Designing and implementing planning and reporting cadences for executive and leadership teams. Partnering with senior leaders to build driver-based forecasts that optimize execution, performance, and efficiency. Leading, growing, and developing a high-performing FP&A team. You're probably a match if YOU have deep technical expertise in Revenue & GTM FP&A, with experience leading teams in Product and Sales-led Go-to-Market motions at a US public company. YOU bring a strategic mindset, connecting investment decisions to long-term company growth with strong commercial judgment and problem-solving abilities. YOU excel in stakeholder management, collaborating effectively with senior business leaders across Canva to drive financial performance. YOU are a transformational leader, motivating and mentoring teams in high-growth, fast-paced environments. YOU continually push boundaries, optimizing processes and systems to drive efficiency and maximize impact. About the team The FP&A team is a force multiplier, accelerating Canva’s journey on its two-step plan: To become one of the world’s most valuable companies. To do the most good we can. We partner closely with business leaders across Canva, enabling strategic decision-making that fuels growth, enhances financial rigour, and delivers meaningful insights that drive action. The Revenue & GTM FP&A team specifically accelerates Canva’s topline growth, providing visibility into future performance and advising on the path to get there. We combine deep expertise in financial modelling, analytics, product, sales, marketing, and competitor intelligence to drive impact. What's in it for you? Achieving our crazy big goals motivates us to work hard - and we do - but you'll experience lots of moments of magic, connectivity, and fun woven throughout life at Canva, too. We also offer a range of benefits to set you up for every success in and outside of work. Here's a taste of what's on offer: Equity packages - we want our success to be yours too Health benefits plans to support you and your wellbeing 401(k) retirement plan with company contribution Inclusive parental leave policy that supports all parents & carers An annual Vibe & Thrive allowance to support your wellbeing, social connection, office setup & more Flexible leave options that empower you to be a force for good, take time to recharge, and support you personally At Canva we value fairness, and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation whilst ensuring internal equity within the team in each region. We make hiring decisions based on your skills, experience, and our overall assessment of what we observed and learnt in the hiring process. The target salary range for this position is $219,000 to $335,000. When calculating offers, we make salary decisions based on market data and candidates' skills and experience.
