An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Administration professional to join our team as a Health Information Services Officer. Prince of Wales Private is seeking an experienced administrator to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. As a Health Information Services Officer your responsibilities will include: Medical record retrieval Provision of health information to internal and external clients Filing of paperwork Filing and culling of medical records Day-to-day functionality of the Health Information Service Department Participating in performance improvement activities Minimum Requirements: Authority to Work in Australia Proficient in the use of email, web-based applications, and Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to work autonomously and as a team member in a small team environment Ability to work within deadlines Flexibility in responding to the changing needs of the business Commitment to document security and patient privacy Experience with the WebPAS patient information system (Desirable) Previous experience in a healthcare setting or record-keeping environment (Desirable) Previous experience in Health Information Services (Desirable) About us Come and join our expert team of dedicated nurses, support services, surgeons, specialist doctors, and allied health professionals at Prince of Wales Private Hospital.
