(subject to review and approval) About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced supervisor or lab manager to join Canberra Health Services, as the Chief Scientist of the Diagnostic Genomics Department (ACT Pathology). You will be responsible for managing and leading the Diagnostic Genomics Laboratory, a multi-disciplinary lab performing conventional cytogenetics, FISH, SNP Microarray, and molecular genetic techniques (including NGS) for the investigation of constitutional and somatic abnormalities. The salary range is $124,103-$137,742 with an additional pathology allowance of $14,575 pa. Note: This is a temporary position available for a period of 10 months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.
