Health, Safety & Environment Manager (ANZ) Organisation A well-established leader in manufacturing, with a global presence and successful operations across Australia and New Zealand. This organisation provides innovative customer-driven solutions and is committed to improving and creating a safe, inclusive and sustainable working environment.Position We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join a high-performing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will have 3 direct reports and will be involved in championing safety across multiple sites within Australia and New Zealand, supporting chain of responsibility with a risk-based approach for the business.Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer within APAC and managing a highly collaborative team, your role will involve influencing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, while achieving specific goals. We are looking for someone with experience managing a team, with a strategic approach to influence and drive implementation of efficient HSE systems, risk management, traffic management, conduct internal audits and investigations, while proactively coaching senior leaders across the business.Requirements Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, required or equivalent. Previous experience managing a small safety team within a complex organisation, implementing systems and driving HSE strategies and risk reduction. Have a results-based approach with strong knowledge of legislative requirements in safety and chain of responsibility. Previous experience integrating new business acquisition would be highly desirable. Demonstrated experience implementing HSE systems and software. Preferable experience within manufacturing or heavy industry. Ideally live in the region of South West Sydney & M5 Corridor area and be willing to travel, as this role will be managing multiple sites across Australia & New Zealand.
