About the role We are seeking a skilled and proactive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our team. The HSE Manager will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and promoting health, safety, and environmental standards across the organization. This role is critical to ensuring that our company adheres to all relevant regulations and policies while fostering a safe and environmentally conscious workplace. As the HSE Manager, you will report directly to the HR Manager, working collaboratively to improve employee safety and well-being. You will lead the development and execution of HSE programs, conduct audits, provide training, and ensure compliance with legal requirements. The responsibilities The primary responsibilities of this role are as follows: Develop, implement, and manage the company’s HSE policies and procedures. Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE regulations and standards across all departments. Lead the investigation of workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, providing detailed reports and recommendations for preventive actions. Provide HSE training and awareness programs for employees at all levels. Collaborate with the HR Manager to integrate HSE practices into the overall corporate culture. Prepare and maintain HSE records, including incident reports and safety audits. Stay up to date with relevant HSE laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Advise management on HSE matters and provide recommendations to reduce risks and improve workplace safety. About you Certificate IV in OHS. Minimum of 2 years' experience at a managerial level. Ideal experience would be a medium to large company. Excellent time management skills with the ability to deliver on deadlines, work under pressure and work autonomously. Team player with good relationship building skills. Experience and proficiency in using Office Suite and digital HSEQ systems. Strong reporting, communication, and excellent attention to detail skills. Vibrant, fun and high performing team dynamic.
