Work Location: Across All Sites Roster: 8 Days 6 Off or 4 Days 3 Off (Both options can be considered) Reporting to the Safety Superintendent Central Services and HIVE within the Integrated Operations Department, as a dynamic and dedicated Health and Safety professional, you will be driving site compliance and improvement in safety, health and environmental activities. As a key member of Central Services, you will be proactively supporting our Villages, Aerodromes, Projects and Bus Operations amongst other departments and areas. You will be working across all Central Services Villages, Aerodromes and Construction Projects often independently supporting multiple teams in delivering safe and sustainable outcomes for our workers. Key Responsibilities Promote and drive the desired safety culture, behaviours and values across village, aviation, and construction activities. Lead and contribute to the development of management plans, procedures / processes, guidelines, and training materials for the effective implementation of the HSE management system. Lead and assist as needed for performing operations/construction risk assessments, including JHAs, hazard registers, CRAWs etc. Provide coaching and support to teams as needed. Support the embedment and monitoring of FSANZ, CASA, WorkSafe and DEMIRS Regulations. Qualifications and Experience Significant experience in health and safety is essential. Demonstrated experience in construction, food safety and aviation industries are desired. Tertiary qualifications in Safety, Minimum Diploma in WHS. Strong knowledge and understanding of Australian Standards and applicable international codes as well as all applicable statutory HSE requirements. Ability to work autonomously and in a team-based environment. Excellent engagement skills and problem-solving skills. Good attention to detail and a cohesive, clear writing style. Advanced to intermediate MS Office skills. Strong proven skill set in coaching workers and leaders alike. Proven passion for innovation, being able to identify and champion change.
