This opportunity is a vital role to shape the future of how our services support our community.The opportunity The primary purpose of the Health Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner is to work in partnership with the organisation to promote and support a culture of safety for all CHW employees through providing best practice advice and support on Health, Safety & Wellbeing initiatives and processes.CHW aspires to be a safety leader in the water sector and beyond, and this role will influence and support in the implementation of improvement plans and projects that are targeted at embedding and continuously improving the proactive safety culture.About You Safety is our No. 1 priority, and we expect you will actively contribute to and foster a 'safety first' culture that supports our aspiration of zero harm. This means you care deeply about the physical and psychological safety of people so that our team return home in great shape at the end of the day.We’d love to hear from you if you have:Experience providing Health, Safety and Wellbeing generalist advice and support to teams in line with legislation, standards and internal procedures. Demonstrated experience influencing and supporting the improvement of a safety culture within a high-risk or complex industry. Proven ability to partner with the business to support delivery of divisional HSW improvement projects as identified and allocated in the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Strategy. Experience conducting workplace inspections, internal HSW audits, and incident investigations. Experience providing injury/illness management support to team members for work and non-work-related purposes, including Work Cover claims management as required. Degree or diploma qualifications or above in Occupational Health and Safety or relevant discipline and at least 2 years’ experience in a Health, Safety and Wellbeing role. Current Victorian Drivers Licence. What's in it for you?
