$80k - $85k + super + NFP salary packaging Help shape the future of health services in Tasmania | Plan and design innovative healthcare solutions to meet local needs Salary ($80k-$85k) + super + not-for-profit salary packaging Choice of work location: Hobart, Launceston or Ulverstone About the opportunity At Primary Health Tasmania a core focus of our work is planning, developing and commissioning services that address the health needs of Tasmanians. This process involves assessing community health needs and designing effective solutions to meet them. Due to the growing scope of our work, we are seeking additional staff to join our team! We are looking for Health Service Planning Coordinators (Primary Health Consultants) to lead planning and designing those solutions. You’ll work closely with a range of stakeholders and experts to find the best ways to make it happen. What makes this role truly unique is the variety of work you will do – from researching evidence, service design, recommending service models, right through to preparing procurement documents and assessing market capacity. What you would be doing Research evidence to guide service planning Assess market capacity by engaging with service providers Recommend and develop evidence-based, consumer-centred service models Prepare procurement documents, including selection criteria and evaluation plans Support continuous improvement of services by analysing service data, reviewing the services, and improving team processes, templates and tools Your work focus areas will be Aboriginal health, aged care, mental health, chronic conditions, alcohol and other drugs, and more Here's what you’ll look like Relevant Qualifications : Qualifications or experience in public health, clinical, or social services with strong health literacy and awareness of clinical processes. Data-Driven Decision Making : Practiced research skills with the ability to use data and evidence to inform service recommendations Communication & Stakeholder Engagement : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders Continuous Quality Improvement : A keen eye for identifying opportunities for improvement and finding innovative solutions for better outcomes Don't worry if you haven’t had experience in this exact role, as we will provide the training and support to enable you to succeed. Valuable experience could include working in health or health management, skills in project and relationship management, or the ability to develop effective service solutions in a health setting.
