The role: A full-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team at James Milson Village North Sydney as the Health and Wellness Coordinator for Independent Living/Retirement Living. As the Health and Wellness Coordinator, you will lead, coordinate, and deliver the operations of clinical, home support, personal care services, and health and wellness programs for Independent Living Units (ILU) clients. Duties and responsibilities include: Assist with the design and delivery of high-quality Health and Wellbeing initiatives for ILU clients. Coordinate, lead, and deliver home support services to ILU clients including personal care services, clinical services, housekeeping, meal delivery, and laundry services. Keep records of home support service and prepare the monthly reporting of home support service. Roster and arrange the team including personal care workers and hospitality workers to provide home support and personal care services as required and to meet changing needs including extra services and cancellations. Liaise with family for any clinical issues that may arise with ILU clients. Develop and deliver lifestyle programs for ILU residents. Who we are looking for: Currently registered with AHPRA as a registered nurse. A team player, professional, and self-motivated. Experience in the provision and coordination of care services to elderly clients within a Retirement Village. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including an ability to deal with conflict constructively. Strong customer service/relations skills and a commitment to providing quality services and implementing continuous improvement. Commitment to professional and self-development activities.
