Job Description: We are currently looking for skilled Heavy Rigid (HR) and Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Drivers to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of machinery and materials to and from our construction sites. Key Responsibilities: Completing pre-operational checks on all vehicles to ensure they are safe and well-maintained according to company and regulatory standards. Load, secure, transport, and unload heavy machinery and materials, adhering to all safety regulations and standards. Navigate routes efficiently while complying with traffic laws and transportation regulations. Coordinate with the logistics and site management teams to ensure optimal routing and scheduling. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance. Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting issues. Requirements: Valid HR or HC driving licenses with a clean driving record. Experience driving road ranger / crash box gearbox. Proven experience driving heavy rigid and combination vehicles in a construction or similar industrial environment. Strong understanding of road safety and regulations, as well as load securing techniques. Physical fitness and ability to handle the demands of the job, including heavy lifting and operating in various weather conditions. Excellent time management skills to maintain schedules and meet deadlines. Ability to use navigational tools and/or good geographical knowledge of the area.
