Heavy Vehicle Transport Operator - Truck Driver Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia G&C Pastoral Company, Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Heavy Vehicle Transport Operator / Truck Driver located out of Tanami Transport’s bases in Alice Springs, NT, and/or Two Wells SA. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as Livestock Transportation and may occasionally involve some General Freight. Livestock Transportation generally consists of 6 Deck Unit Combinations (3 x Double Deck Trailers), and on occasion, 3 Deck (B-Double) or 4 Deck Combinations (2 x Double Deck Trailers) may be required by clients. The role consists of loading, unloading, and delivering livestock and general freight while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Excellent remuneration and conditions for suitable applicants. Qualifications Applicable Heavy Vehicle Licence Heavy Vehicle Truck Driving Skills Experience in loading and unloading livestock Knowledge of Regulations Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance skills Physical strength for loading and unloading livestock Relevant qualifications and skills in heavy vehicle operation and maintenance are beneficial for this role.
