A Snapshot Be part of the CET (Critical Environments Team) headed by CET Associate Director, Electrical Systems in Critical Environments and you will report to Senior Electrical Systems Specialist. Your primary role will be to ensure the safe operation and management of AT HV infrastructure. Role objectives Your primary role will be to support the Associate Director, Electrical Systems in Critical Environments in ensuring the safe operation and management of AT’s HV and LV infrastructure. This can be achieved by: Being a competent HV operator and assisting in training other less experienced operators. Writing and reviewing Switching instructions as required. Ensuring all HV aspects comply with all local compliance and standards. Assisting where required in working within a commissioning environment relating to HV infrastructure of all related voltages up to and including 132KV. Day to day Preparing or reviewing MOP’s and HV Switching procedures. Preparing MOPS and HV and LV switching Instructions for Development related projects. This could include working on green Field sites or integration works in Live DC environments. Carrying out Switching as per approved MOPS and Switching instructions. Preparing inspection, maintenance, and safety programs. Managing the maintenance and inspection of the HV network and self-delivery some aspects. Assisting in the successful resolution of post construction punch lists. Assisting in project and commissioning during construction phases. Assisting technology department reviews and providing operational input to designs. Supporting Operations in HV related work, especially when dealing with supply authorities. Managing or assisting in managing sub-contractors on behalf of Ops during normal maintenance or during development construction integration phases. Having an awareness of authority requirements in other States and within APAC. Assisting AirTrunk's Safety Team during incident investigations, by supplying technical input. Other requirements Experience with utility or in electrical contracting as a HV contractor on private HV networks. Electrical trade or similar background, preferably with general knowledge of LV switchgear and different types, power generation. Excellent technical knowledge of HV systems and assets such as switchgear, HV cable and cable installation and transformers. Awareness of HV Protection and DC systems. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret electrical schematics and specifications. Ability to travel through Australia and Overseas. Professional attitude with persuasive skills to make things happen. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to work proactively or as part of a team. Strong communicator and ability to interact with all professional levels within an organisation. Strong written and oral skills. Australian Citizen and/or suitable to hold Negative Vetting 1 Clearance.
