We are seeking compassionate Home Care Employees who want to make a difference, enhancing the spiritual, physical, social and emotional wellbeing of our Newcastle (Jewels and West Wallsend) and Central Coast (Wyee) residents and clients. Seeking both unqualified and qualified candidates (Certificate III in Individual Support - Ageing), for immediate part-time opportunities. You'll receive an attractive hourly rate, plus salary sacrifice, commensurate with your skills and experience. If you have: The commitment and willingness to learn on the job as an entry-level employee, or Certificate III or equivalent in Individual Support (Aged or Disability), medications highly desirable or currently studying a Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing. Demonstrated high standards of care for clients and their families. Desirable experience in a home care setting, providing domestic support. Understanding of person-centred care. Demonstrated ability to: Follow instructions and procedures Plan and organise Cope with pressures & setbacks Essentials for working in Aged Care: Australian Working Rights Current First Aid and CPR Certificate Current and/or ongoing Flu and Hepatitis B vaccinations Current, Open Driver’s License Reliable Car with Registration + Comprehensive Insurance Then Take the next step in your career at Adventist Senior Living.
