HenderCare is seeking experienced Home and Garden Maintenance workers to join our team to support our Aged Care & Disability clients in the community with their homes across Victoria with the ideal candidate driving to and from around the Western, Northern, Eastern, and Southeastern Suburbs of Melbourne, and throughout the Bellarine Peninsula . Work your Shifts and Roster via AlayaCare App Shifts generally 8am-5pm Monday to Friday (no weekends) Weekly Pay (every Friday) Employee Benefits & Perks Program 24-hour support line for field staff FREE Flu Vaccinations for all employees Employee Assistance Program (EAP) About the Role As a casual Home and Garden Maintenance Worker, you will be driving to and from multiple clients' homes in a day to assist service recipients in keeping their homes safe and habitable by minimizing environmental health and safety hazards. Services include gutter cleaning, window and fan cleaning, replacing light bulbs, installing batteries, replacing fixed shower heads with handheld systems, installing key safes, installing grab rails in toilet and shower recesses, minor home maintenance, pruning, lawn mowing, and weeding. About You You will also need: Previous experience in Aged Care or Disability Home & Garden Maintenance is desirable Your own reliable smartphone to access AlayaCare (work roster) Your own gardening and maintenance equipment and vehicle A UTE/Trailer to carry the tools Can travel in and around between client homes throughout the day Willingness to obtain an NDIS Workers Check, National Police Check, and a Working With Children Check Passion and understanding for providing support to the elderly and people with a disability Welcome to HenderCare At HenderCare, we pride ourselves on the high-quality care and support we offer to people living with a disability, people in the acute healthcare sector, children and young people, and our older Australians.
