About the role This role is responsible for planning, organising, and supervising the execution of maintenance and work programs within assigned areas. Role accountabilities include: Deliver maintenance programs for areas assigned to the Nursery team. Undertake the propagation of a diverse range of plants at the City of Hobart nursery. Engage in planting, fertilising, plant display rotation, and maintenance activities both on-site and throughout the City's plant display areas. We are seeking a motivated individual with a Certificate III in Horticulture or a relevant field, along with demonstrated experience in the horticulture industry. The ideal candidate will be skilled in organising and executing work programs to a high standard. A current Driver’s Licence and a Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Card are essential.
