Hospital Pharmacist - Slade Pharmacy, The Wesley Hospital Pharmacy Brisbane Contract or Temp Slade Pharmacy Key Points 9-month contract, part-time role (52-hours per fortnight). Hospital Pharmacist position at Slade Pharmacy Wesley, located in The Wesley Hospital, QLD. Training provided; community and newly registered pharmacists are encouraged to apply. The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to partner with our clinical team at Slade Pharmacy, located at The Wesley Hospital in Brisbane. Here you will develop and expand upon a broad range of hospital pharmacy skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to work with an expert team of allied health professionals and doctors to leave a positive impact on patient care. About the Role This is a 9-month contract, part-time role. You will provide hands-on clinical pharmacy services, supporting patient care and working closely with a multidisciplinary team. This is the perfect environment to sharpen your skills and gain experience that will open doors to future opportunities. Responsibilities Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products. Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge. Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients. Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees. Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines. Shift Availability Regular schedule: Wednesday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays. Hours: Rotating roster, with most shifts from 07:30AM – 04:00PM or 08:00AM – 04:30PM. Night shifts included on a rotating basis. Additional shifts available, with the potential to work up to 76-hours per fortnight. Essential Requirements Current AHPRA general registration as a Pharmacist. Australian working rights. Ability to commit to permanent part-time employment for the duration of the contract. Desirable Experience working in a Hospital Pharmacy setting.
