Rydges Kalgoorlie are looking for a motivated and professional Maintenance Manager to help keep our property maintained and in top shape! Join our dynamic team at Kalgoorlie's own resort style hotel. The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes: Great leadership skills Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment Basic understanding of building, electrical and plumbing Good communication ability Well-organized and attention to details Safety focused approach Strong problem-solving abilities Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Provide support and guidance to all relevant departments when required Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and a building & contractor management system Ability to obtain Police Clearance Tasks and responsibilities: Undertake upkeep and repair tasks at the interior or exterior of company premises Keep our facilities in ideal condition by doing various odd jobs and co-ordinate trades as required Perform maintenance and light repairs Maintain and adhere to a preventative maintenance schedule Perform routine landscaping on the grounds Paint and fill gaps or crevices Undertake light installation or carpentry Manage external tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks Identify and report the need for major repairs Cost control Rostering, timesheets and leave approvals Track and maintain works, assets and contractors Ensure complete legal and safety compliance at all times Training and support provided The position entails a roster of 5 weekly shifts, totalling 38 to 42 hours.
