$100,000 per year plus onsite-accommodation option Levantine Hill Estate is a rapidly growing, family-owned company, which operates a large single-site premium wine, tourism, and hospitality business in Australia. The business is set across our three major vineyards along the Maroondah Highway in the Yarra Valley. Levantine Hill Estate specialises in wine production and wholesale, functions, events, onsite restaurant, and cellar door, and soon to open 33 room hotel (currently under construction). Levantine Hill's hotel will be part of the Small Luxury Hotel collection. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR This role requires an energetic and self-motivated manager to ensure seamless hotel operations and drive strategies that align with our property’s strategic and sales goals. You must have experience in hotel openings. You will play a crucial role in achieving annual revenue targets, while overseeing departmental functions and managing budgets. Your leadership will be instrumental in the overall operational of the hotel and leading a team to deliver outstanding customer service to hotel guests. A large part of this role will be the hotel set up, including systems (PMS), policies, procedures, recruitment and training. Responsibilities: Provide a strong, clear leadership to the hotel division of the organisation. Set up policies, procedures, and systems for the hotel so that it is ready to open in the middle of this year. Oversee the development and implementation of all activities, with the critical objective of achieving profitability and sales without compromising the premium and luxury positioning of the brand. Plan and review the operating costs. Ensuring the hotel retains its eligibility and quality promise to maintain a Small Luxury Hotel of the World (SLH-partner). Monitor and improve guest satisfaction levels through effective management and problem-solving. Effective planning, management, and organisation of operations to deliver the best possible experience to guests. Maintaining adequate par levels of OS&E and overseeing program for FF&E. Manage departmental budgets, including labour costs and supply expenditures, and make recommendations for cost-saving measures. Make recommendations to management to maximise efficiencies for purchases within brand standard. Supervise and lead the hotel team, recruit, train and evaluate team performance. Skills and attributes: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role and proven experience opening a hotel.
