We are looking for 1 employee with the dual role of Hotel Services & Cook to work at our facility, Bolton Clarke Cunningham Villas located in the coastal town of Bowen QLD. About the Role: Our employee with this dual role of Hotel Services & Cook performs the following duties and responsibilities: HOTEL SERVICES Housekeeping: General cleaning, using industrial cleaning chemicals and equipment. Laundering, pressing/ironing, and folding of various items. Collection and distribution of personal effects mistakenly sent to the laundry. Completion of necessary administration associated with duties. Emptying bins and general removal of non-infectious and infectious items. Food Services: Undertake all duties in accordance with food safety and hygiene legislation. Monitoring, cleaning, and tidying of areas for which the employee is responsible. General cleaning duties within kitchen and food preparation areas. Assembly and preparation of ingredients for cooking. Preparation of food to meet special dietary requirements. Serving food and beverages to customers in line with their dietary profiles. COOK Responsibilities include: Preparation of ingredients for cooking. Undertake basic cooking of meals and food items. Assist senior cooks and chefs in cooking a range of meals. Reheat food as required to prepare meals. Portion, present, and serve food.
