About the Role The House Manager position we have available requires extensive experience in managing people, report writing, and the ability to manage a broad range of daily responsibilities. A key role of a House Manager is to manage the day-to-day operations of a home where our participants live; you will oversee their supports and support worker team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team to assist participants living with a disability in their Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment. This role will involve a significant degree of ownership for various tasks as well as being part of a broader care team that ensures positive outcomes. About You Experience as a SIL House Manager is desirable but not essential. 2+ years of experience as a Support Worker, including leadership roles/experience. Ability to be participant-focused, with strong leadership skills and management qualities. Ability to effectively collaborate with important stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead a team to achieve positive outcomes for clients in a residential setting. Work collaboratively with families and other care providers. Coordinate a range of day-to-day tasks including compliance, medication management, weekly reporting, and general house duties. Ensure that services are consistent with values, including all relevant policies and procedures. Complete all paperwork in a timely manner. Manage all incidents effectively and report them within the relevant timeframes, in line with Sunrise2Sunrise’s Policies and Procedures. Carry out designated duties/tasks as per the service duty roster, and other reasonable duties as instructed by the employer from time to time. Essential Criteria Right to work in Australia. Current Driver’s License. Current First Aid and CPR certification. Clear Police Check. NDIS Worker Screening Check. Current Working with Children Check (Employee).
