We are looking for a skilled and results-driven Housekeeping Manager to lead and inspire our housekeeping team at one of our largest and most prestigious properties. This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished professional to play a key role in upholding the resort’s high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Include: Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is evident throughout the property in Housekeeping (in rooms, public and common areas). Build a productive and professional relationship with Housekeepers staff members, Housekeepers clients and all contractor personnel. Lead and manage the housekeeping team to consistently deliver exceptional cleaning services that exceed guest expectations. Oversee and facilitate daily on-the-job training for all housekeeping staff, ensuring continuous skill development and adherence to high standards. Maintain comprehensive and accurate records related to finances, maintenance, and inventory, ensuring efficient operational management. Spearhead the recruitment process for the housekeeping team, ensuring the selection of qualified and capable candidates who align with organizational standards and values. Qualifications Minimum 3 years experience in Housekeeping Management, with a strong track record of leading and managing housekeeping teams effectively. Exceptional people management skills, with the ability to motivate, train, and develop team members to achieve optimal performance. Extensive experience in controlling and managing departmental budgets, including the procurement, inventory, and replenishment of operating supplies, replacements, and consumables. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with staff, guests, and other departments. Highly developed time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A keen eye for detail, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the property, while consistently adhering to procedures and safety guidelines. Ability to establish and enforce cleanliness standards, leading by example to ensure consistent and exceptional guest experiences. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and implementing continuous improvements.
