Usually, this could be a tough gig, but not this time. You will be working closely with a CEO who is conversant with most things people & culture. He will be there for you, and you will be there for the company to facilitate its transition into a larger, more complex enterprise. We have previously advertised this role and are yet to find the right fit. Being our first HR hire, we are very specific in our requirements. You are a very competent HR practitioner with a broad set of skills and interests. You are highly commercial and aspire to play a key part in a business’s growth and development. You have likely worked in mining services, construction, or engineering and enjoy matter-of-fact, action-oriented people and a work culture that is positive, friendly, and progressive. People describe you as warm, curious, capable, and a natural coach. The scale of the company and the hands-on broad nature of the role have set the target remuneration for the role at circa $150K.
