Job Description

Responsibilities: Ensure the clients' activities are executed in compliance with applicable UK legislation and regulations. Prepare risk analysis prior to the commencement of work, follow up, inspect, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations referred to in risk analysis and work methods. Maintain continuous communication with HSE managers and the client's Project Managers, share non-compliances with relevant parties, and provide solutions. Prepare HSE Plan, annual work plans, and coordinate processes. Ensure necessary notifications are filed in case of accidents and occupational diseases, analyze and report root causes of accidents and near-misses, revise training content and risk analysis. Prepare Health and Safety audit reports and submit them to the QHSE Manager. Prepare HSE statistics on a monthly basis and report to the QHSE Manager. Ensure that unsafe acts and conditions identified during site inspections are rectified immediately. Involve and monitor daily task briefings. Ensure compliance with permit conditions. Prepare annual training plans, ensure training is provided, and produce necessary reports. Coordinate on-the-job training and provide reports to the QHSE Manager. Prepare job-specific risk analysis, report to the QHSE Manager, and revise risk analysis after accidents and when necessary. Provide emergency training to all personnel. Organize mandatory emergency drills and prepare reports. Conduct HSE and coordination meetings with project management regularly, ensuring necessary practices are adopted against identified HSE issues. Attend meetings organized by HSE Managers of the Client and cascade meeting decisions with project management. Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree with NEBOSH diploma or NVQ level 6 diploma or equivalent. Having a CSCS Manager card. Minimum 5 years of experience on mechanical & electrical commercial or industrial projects. Proven experience with all current Health and Safety legislation (minimum 10 years). Experience in safety management systems and the interpretation of bodies of evidence (e.g., safety case evidence and risk mitigation). Stakeholder management and excellent communication/interpersonal skills. Holding a valid first aid certificate is preferable. Chartered membership of professional organizations such as IOSH is preferable. Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. #J-18808-Ljbffr
