Job Description

Human Research Ethics Committee Membership - Expressions of interest The Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) at Edith Cowan University (ECU) is seeking expressions of interest for new members. To support research activities at ECU, the HREC reviews research projects to ensure that they meet ethical requirements as outlined by the National Statement of Ethical Conduct in Human Research, 2023 (NS). Committee members should possess the following attributes: The ECU HREC is looking for members in any of the following categories: The HREC meets on the first Friday of every month for approximately 3 hours commencing at 1.00 pm. Meetings are held either at the Mt Lawley or Joondalup campus of ECU. Remote participation is an option. In addition, members would be required to review applications between meetings. A comprehensive induction is provided for new members and members will be renumerated with $300 for each meeting.
