Regis Resources is an ASX 200-listed Perth based gold production and exploration company with a proven management team and a successful track record of developing mid-sized gold operations. Regis is a purely Australian gold miner with significant open pit and underground operations, which includes the 100% owned Duketon Gold Project and a 30% ownership of the Tropicana Gold Project, both in Western Australia. In FY25, Regis expects to produce between 350 thousand and 380 thousand ounces of gold and has a current market capitalisation of nearly A$2.3 billion. The current mine site locations are in the northeastern Goldfields of WA, with multiple mining operations both open pit and underground. The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner to join our team at the Duketon Gold Project. Reporting to the People & Capability Manager and in partnership with operational leaders, this role focuses on the delivery of general HR advice and acting as a strategic business partner with stakeholders. This is a site-based role, working on a FIFO 8:6 roster (ex-Perth). About the Role The role is essential for fostering effective people management practices and ensuring alignment with the organisation’s goals and objectives. Act as a strategic business partner with stakeholders to understand and address their people management needs, whilst providing advocacy for your client group Provide best practice advice, coaching and support to leaders and employees for employee relations matters, psychosocial hazards and other related employee life cycle activities Undertakes Safe2Say (anonymous reporting line) investigation reporting Supports client group with cyclical activities and HR processes Provide support and ensure site employee relations practices are consistent with Regis Resources policies, strategic intent and legislative parameters Support the Learning & Development Superintendent, to develop the competencies of our people to ensure they have the skills and behaviours to safely achieve their role objectives Support The Recruitment Team’s talent acquisition activities if needed, to ensure the selection of suitable candidates Supports the wider People & Capability team with HR initiatives and projects Monitors and reports on HR metrics to drive continuous improvement. About You Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior HR role, preferably in a mining or industrial environment Effective communication skills and the ability to tailor communications to the relevant audience Ability to build rapport and strong relationships with key stakeholders Strong understanding of the Fair Work Act and related Employee Relations legislation Effective people management and negotiation skills Strong understanding of HR systems and processes Ability to work effectively in a FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) environment.
