Our consultants are engaged in a variety of cutting-edge projects throughout Australia.About the Role Our Federal Government Client is seeking multiple ICT Architects (Enterprise ICT Architects, Enterprise Application Architects, and Enterprise Security Architects). This is a long-term 12-month contract opportunity with long term extension options , located at our client’s Canberra office (full-time onsite).Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens who already hold an active NV1 security clearance or higher. The Enterprise ICT Architect will provide overall direction, definition and facilitation for the development of the organisation’s technology strategy, roadmaps, and plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic direction. This role requires developing a comprehensive roadmap for durable, re-usable ICT solutions, balancing current needs and future growth, and prioritising ICT investment. The position will work closely with business and ICT stakeholders to guide the agency through its digital transformation, ensuring the adoption of modern, fit-for-purpose technologies and best practices. The Applications Architect will develop the current, transition and target state application architecture, covering the integrated suite of applications, and supporting software & technology platforms. The target state will focus on ensuring the organisation’s applications remain contemporary, supportable, are optimally integrated, and best meet evolving business needs. A key element of the role is identification of preferred supporting software platforms, as well as consolidation and rationalisation. The architect will develop and oversee implementation of roadmaps and plans to achieve the target state application architecture. The architect will develop principles, patterns and standards to ensure applications are aligned to the target state applications architecture. The Enterprise Security Architect will develop the current, transition and target state security architecture, covering the full suite of technology solutions and capabilities used to protect all organisational systems and data in a complex multi-jurisdictional and hybrid-cloud PROTECTED environment. The target state will ensure the organisation's security solutions effectively protect assets in compliance with Australian Government, industry standards and contemporary practices. The security architect will play a key role in mapping out the future of the organisation's security technology to achieve contemporary, integrated, consolidated, and rationalised security solutions. The security architect will play an important role in ensuring solutions are designed to correctly leverage security technology solutions.
