Job Description
About the role: The ICT Procurement Specialist will oversee complex, high-value strategic procurement processes using Queensland Government contracting frameworks such as QITC/GITC and General Goods and Services, ensuring compliance with government regulations and client policies and procedures. Responsibilities: Leverage innovative thinking and strategic procurement approaches to drive business outcomes while adhering to the requirements of applicable procurement frameworks. Independently assess and manage procurement risks in the context of strategic procurement. Conduct planning and market research to formulate strategic sourcing, contracting strategies, and procurement plan documentation. Analyze and refine specifications to ensure clear and accurate definition of business requirements. Create tender documentation, including evaluation plans, in alignment with defined requirements and in collaboration with key stakeholders. Prepare, document, and execute negotiation strategies as needed for contract negotiations. Experience on the Queensland Procurement Policy, relevant contract conditions, contract law, and other legislative matters related to contracting.
