To us, it’s personal. About Opportunity Home Instead is seeking a customer-driven IT Desktop Support Officer to join our growing team at our National Office in Toowong, Brisbane. The role will require the successful candidate to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues within the Home Instead network. This opportunity calls for someone with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task. The IT Officer will be the main point of contact for all incoming incidents over the phone, email, or face to face. Why work for Home Instead? Tight-knit supportive culture Birthday Day Off Wellbeing & personal support through our dedicated employee assistance program Ongoing learning and development through our learning management systems In this role you will: Logging, monitoring, and resolving support calls via service desk On-boarding new employees, preparing machines and accesses Asset Management Provide application support and training (face-to-face and remotely) across all business functions Support system users through remote desktop software, email, and telephone Troubleshoot issues related to Systems, Applications, Software, Hardware, or Networking Contribute to successful delivery of projects through testing, change management, and training About you: Prior experience working in a desktop support role Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to listen effectively Ability to work in a dynamic and high-functioning team with the ability to show initiative and to think on your feet Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra, and Intune highly desirable Ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks while working with a sense of urgency A passion for information technology with an interest in continuous improvement Ability to work under broad direction and minimal supervision to meet deadlines A positive attitude and eagerness to learn Applicants must have permanent or temporary rights to work in Australia with no restrictions.
