About the role TAFE SA is seeking an experienced IT Financial Specialist to join the ICT Services team . As a key member of a small team with a positive culture, this is an opportunity to use your skills, knowledge, and experience to ensure the effective operation of ICT Services through informed decision making. The IT Financial Specialist is responsible for coordinating and delivering a specialist program of work, services, and advice to complex IT financial administration functions within ICT Services. The role coordinates and undertakes the monitoring, analysis, and reporting of complex ICT financial performance, and develops, implements, and reviews standards and processes. The IT Financial Specialist is responsible for tracking expenditure against the ICT Services significant and growing goods and services budget, coordinates and tracks financial commitments for monthly financial processes, and tracks and monitors expenditure against the approved financial values for ICT contracts. By developing and maintaining relationships with TAFE SA Finance, and Procurement and Contract Management teams, the IT Financial Specialist provides expert IT financial advice and assistance to ICT Services managers, team leads, staff, and key stakeholders. The IT Financial Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the effective operation of ICT Services and informed decision making by the ICT leadership team and in maintaining ICT Services’ compliance with South Australian Government and TAFE SA financial management policies. Special Conditions The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. This role’s location is currently site specific, which may change due to the business needs of the role and/or TAFE SA. Some out of hours work may be required.
