We want to offer you a career pathway with us! Your journey starts as an IT Procurement / Commercial Analyst, this role is a Permanent role and can be based in Port Kembla NSW or Mount Waverley VIC. What Will You Do? The IT Commercial Analyst role provides analytical support to the IT Commercial team for the procurement of IT goods and services. You will support the decision-making process through market intelligence, data collection, modelling and analysis and recommendations. This role will help deliver continuous improvement outcomes through effective contract, vendor &/or process management. This will be achieved by: Undertaking analysis to support sourcing decisions and evaluation of proposals. Contributing to the evaluation of potential suppliers using agreed criteria to ensure optimal cost and risk position is achieved. Assisting in developing IT contract negotiation strategy using contract and data analysis. Analysing the robustness of proposals, validate assumptions, and provide recommendations for sourcing related initiatives to the IT Commercial team. Collaborating with internal customers to support procurement strategies, operational plans and continuous improvement initiatives. Validating project sourcing strategies are appropriate and project commercial/contract risks are mitigated. Assisting in managing the process of continuously analysing the performance of vendors to ensure delivery in line with contractual obligations along with performance metrics and escalating/rectifying this in a timely manner. Driving contract performance through improving processes, enhancing efficiencies, increasing productivity, benchmarking and adopting best practices, leveraging technological advancement and improving controls. We are looking for team players with: Appropriate Tertiary Qualifications Proven analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Ability to create business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations. Demonstrated analytical or contract management experience. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills to build effective working relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
