IT Project Manager (Digital Innovation project) Australia - VIC Melbourne - All locations Added Thursday 13th of February 2025 04:44:02 PM Milestone IT is partnering with a major healthcare organisation to find a highly motivated and experienced IT Project Manager to lead a range of exciting digital innovation projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology initiatives within a vital sector. About the Role: As the IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of smaller projects originating within the IT department's Digital Innovation team. These projects will span a range of digital technologies, impacting various aspects of the organisation's operations. Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope definition, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and clear communication. Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, escalating where necessary. Monitor project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Ensure adherence to project methodologies, particularly PRINCE2. Develop, implement, and support project change management initiatives, considering the impact on people, processes, and technology. Manage project financials and administration. Contribute to the overall success of the Digital Innovation team. Essential Skills and Experience: Demonstrated experience as an IT Project Manager in a large, complex 24x7 ICT environment. Minimum of 7 years' industry experience. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a complex environment, with a focus on ICT Infrastructure projects. Strong understanding and practical application of PRINCE2 project management methodologies. Solid understanding of digital technologies, including enterprise and desktop applications, and hosting platforms (including cloud). Broad general knowledge covering the spectrum of IT department functions. Ability to assess and manage the impact of projects on people, processes, and technology. Experience in financial management and administration. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement project change management initiatives.
