NXT GIG is searching for an experienced IT Systems Security Manager who will take charge of our organization's IT security efforts. You will be at the forefront of protecting our information systems by establishing robust security standards and policies. Your responsibilities will include assessing security risks, leading security initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of security frameworks, as well as practical experience in managing IT security teams. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and enforce security policies to protect organizational IT assets Oversee and manage a team dedicated to safeguarding IT infrastructure Conduct regular assessments and audits of IT systems to identify vulnerabilities and ensure regulatory compliance Monitor security incidents and coordinate responses to breaches Work closely with IT teams to ensure secure system architecture and practices are being followed Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies to proactively advance security measures Prepare detailed security reports for senior management, outlining risks and actionable recommendations Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security with a proven track record as an IT Systems Security Manager Expertise in risk assessment and management practices Strong familiarity with security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
