Job details We are seeking an experienced ITSM/SIAM Service Manager for a Federal Government client. 12 Month contract with a potential 2 * 12 month extensions Hybrid Working Location: Canberra ACT 40 hours per week Our client is seeking an experienced candidate who is a subject-matter expert (SME) in IT Service Management (ITSM) & Service Integration and Management (SIAM) to join the IT Operations Management section which is responsible for overseeing the department’s IT operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of ITSM & SIAM and will manage and support the department in uplifting and maintaining their ITSM maturity as well as support the operational transition to a SIAM model. Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Support the development, transition & day to day operations of ITSM and SIAM processes, engaging with colleagues, internal/external suppliers and key business stakeholders. Assist with ITSM documentation management within the Operations Management team, implementing and uplifting policies & processes as well as pro-actively identifying improvements and enhancements. Working under general and often limited direction as the SME for all ITSM/SIAM related activities and work, providing advice and guidance to the director & broader team. Support the adoption of SIAM & ITSM policies, processes and procedures, ensuring they are in place for each practice & function and are followed by all service providers. Assisting the director by working with the Division(s) and the department in the activities associated with establishing and implementing ITSM & SIAM services.
