ROLE OUTLINE The Nike team is expanding – looking for Performance roles with a genuine passion for driving results while working with a killer team and client. Nike is known for activating truly exciting, groundbreaking, and first-to-market media campaigns. Adding Performance to our existing Brand Team is a unique opportunity and one not to be missed. Tenure on the Mindshare Nike team is huge because the people frankly love and care for the brand. The Mindshare team is a true extension of the Nike Marketing team. As our Implementation & Activation Associate Director - Performance, this role spans the full spectrum of implementation, activation, and delivery. You will provide leadership to activation staff, drawing on your expertise to coach, teach, and support them in delivering for our clients to a consistently high standard. You will also collaborate with clients to produce successful implementation plans that drive real business change. For this role, we need someone who is an expert on all things digital, including Search, Social, and Programmatic, and ideally with experience in eCommerce. You will be an experienced people manager, responsible for a team of 3 or 4. This is a fast-paced, high-volume, but very rewarding client. KEY RELATIONSHIPS Collaborating closely with internal teams Establishing strong relationships with relevant media, data, and technology partners Fostering deep trust and understanding with agency client teams Contributing to great teamwork in your immediate team WHAT YOU SHOULD SPEND YOUR TIME DOING People – 35% of your time Manage team workflow, delegating tasks effectively, ensuring goals are set & met, and resolving issues with minimal guidance Ensure performance evaluations are completed to the required frequency and standard, coaching managers where necessary Lead the training and development of junior members of the team, including up-to-date certifications/accreditations across all relevant platforms Product – 30% of your time Enrich ongoing implementation planning and buying practices to improve delivery, collaborating with practice leads where relevant Actively lean into GroupM craft initiatives at an AU, APAC, and Global level to drive best practices in your team and maximize knowledge sharing opportunities. Bring innovation and creativity to the table by leading the testing agenda for your team, collaborating with partners to harness their capability Supervise the reporting output across the team, ensuring it is jargon-free, insightful, and of the highest standard Client – 20% of your time Own key relationships at the intermediate level, as it relates to implementation planning & buying Demonstrate strong media planning principles, working with clients to provide implementation plans that are grounded in strategic priorities Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members on their communication and relationship-building skills Commercial – 15% of your time Address and resolve challenges and issues related to commercial tasks, liaising with stakeholders and coaching junior team members as required with minimal supervision Seek and implement improvements to ways of working that increase efficiency and effectiveness of commercial operations Support Director on investment decisions, audits, and forecasting WHAT MAKES A GREAT IMPLEMENTATION & ACTIVATION ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR - PERFORMANCE Attention to detail: monitoring the quality and accuracy of your own work and that of others Organisation: managing expectations across all stakeholders, setting clear priorities Team & collaboration: assuming extra responsibilities to facilitate the achievement of team goals Communication: effectively communicating business objectives, issues, and outcomes clearly, applying strategic thinking Analytical: recognizing causes & consequences of actions and events that are not readily apparent Flexibility: recognizing changing circumstances quickly and proactively implementing successful action plans across the team Proactivity/taking the initiative: consistently contributing to improve work methods, outcomes, and team performance Problem solving: identifying root problems and proactively implementing solutions, acting to minimize risk across all implementation processes and procedures #LI-Promoted #J-18808-Ljbffr
