In Home care - Personal Care Worker – Pakenham Pakenham and Outer South Casual position – Flexible start and finish times Paid travel time ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking friendly, caring and client-focused Personal Care Workers to assist our clients in living independently in their own homes. The duties include providing personal care, helping around the home, assisting with meal preparation, and transport to appointments. About You: Empathy, respect, kindness, and reliability Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, or Disability, or completion of first year Bachelor of Nursing studies and First Aid Level 2 Current driver’s license and your own reliable transport to travel to our client’s home A Smartphone Ability to relate to older people and flexibility around the changing needs of clients DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL: Current WWC Card and an interest in working with children with complex needs Current Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme Check or willingness to apply for an NDIS check BENEFITS: Competitive hourly rate and paid travel time Not-for-Profit Salary packaging Induction and training provided Training opportunities towards obtaining extra qualifications Regular rosters to work flexible hours and close to home ABOUT US: mecwa care is a leading not-for-profit organisation that has been supporting Victorians for more than 65 years.
