We are seeking applicants for the position of Laboratory Assistant for our XRF department, who are excited by the challenges of our business and the variety this role offers. You will be based at Sorbonne Crescent in Canning Vale, WA, and will be responsible for using specialised equipment and performing manual handling tasks to prepare samples and conduct laboratory testing. You will also be involved in the simulation of mineral production processes to test the properties of mineral samples. Position Description: Weighing, digestion, and preparation of samples for analysis Follow and adhere to laboratory procedures Undertake tasks as requested by the supervisor Meet quality, TATs, and KPIs required for the role Maintain good laboratory housekeeping Position Requirements: Reliable and keen to work Flexibility for shift and weekend work Physically fit and willing to perform manual handling tasks Sound numerical skills A methodical, well-organised approach to your work Willingness to work as part of a team with a high focus on quality and safety Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening.
