About the Role We are seeking an experienced Individual Giving Specialist to lead our individual giving program and assist in our digital marketing and fundraising efforts. This role is instrumental in managing and growing the National Justice Project’s monthly giving program, acquiring grassroots donors, and assisting in digital appeals and campaigns. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and Philanthropy, you will drive our fundraising objectives through engaging communications and donor stewardship. Responsibilities Personal Responsibilities, including but not limited to: Undertaking your work and other activities with integrity and in line with the National Justice Project’s values and ensuring a people-first approach across our National Justice Project’s team, donors and supporters Protecting and enhancing the reputation of the organisation Executing tasks that may be communicated to you to a high standard Position Responsibilities, including but not limited to: Develop and oversee individual giving program, including supporter acquisition, conversion and retention of our monthly donors. Create engaging donor journeys to welcome, steward, retain, and engage individual givers. Manage the strategy, planning, and execution of digital grassroots fundraising appeals in line with wider fundraising strategy. Work with the Head of Fundraising and Philanthropy and Fundraising Administrator on strategies for donor engagement, including recognition. Use analytics and insights from the supporter database to effectively manage and grow annual appeals and individual giving. Evaluate program outcomes and report on key objectives Manage income and expenditure budgets for individual giving program and make data-driven decisions for individual giving initiatives. Required Skills Committed to the aims and values of the National Justice Project. Thrives in a fast-paced environment where everyone is working to create positive systemic change. Comfortable working in an environment where distressing subject matter is sometimes discussed and worked on, and where clients are often coming from a background of trauma. Preferred Skills Minimum 3 years’ experience across Campaign, Individual Giving or Direct Marketing Management Demonstrated experience in the successful planning and implementation of donor retention and acquisition strategies that meet budget requirements Strong digital fundraising capabilities and an understanding of digital best practice Excellent project management skills and keen eye for detail Experience in budget management The ability to engage with a range of stakeholders to support organisational objectives across marketing, fundraising and events Effective relationship builder and superior communication, both written and verbal Strong data analysis skills and ability to interpret data insights into strategic direction First Nations Peoples and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
