Our life insurance client is seeking an actuary for a 6-month contract assisting with valuation and IFRS17 work for retail insurance. About the role Oversee the actuarial valuation process for individual risk, including reserve calculations, compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting. Assist with deriving actionable insights from financial data and modelling and translating insights into strategic recommendations presented to senior stakeholders. Communicate actuarial findings and recommendations effectively to various stakeholders and provide guidance to the broader team. About you Qualified as an FIAA or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in valuation roles in life insurance with Australian market experience preferred. Strong experience in IFRS17.
