Have qualifications in law, industrial relations and/or human resources. Be a motivated, high performer who learns quickly and adapts easily. The role requires that you have the following skills or the capability to grow and develop such skills: Industrial Relations Expertise: Navigating industrial relations complexities including FWC representation, enterprise bargaining, workplace agreements and dispute resolution. Employee Relations Management: Proven track record in handling disciplinary action, grievances, performance management and terminations while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices. Legislative Compliance: Current knowledge and understanding of Australian workplace legislation, including the Fair Work Act 2009 , Modern Awards, minimum wages, workplace health and safety and other statutory requirements. Consulting and Client Relationship Management: Ability to build trust-based relationships with clients, understanding their needs, providing strategic advice and delivering tailored solutions. FWC Representation: Experience in representing clients before the FWC, including preparation of submissions, attending hearings and advocating for client interests. Enterprise Bargaining: Proficiency in facilitating enterprise bargaining, conducting negotiations, drafting agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance and dealing with employee representatives and the FWC. Drafting: Ability to draft all types of professional industrial relations documentation, including client advice, policies, contracts, letters to employees and enterprise agreements. Wage Compliance: Experience in wage compliance, including analysing data, calculation of minimum wages and interpretation of industrial instruments. Position Description is available upon request.
