Role Overview: The Industry Engagement Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for architecting, leading, and executing UNSW College’s industry engagement strategy. This role will be instrumental in positioning UNSW College as a leader in industry-integrated learning, developing transformational partnerships that drive workforce-aligned education, expanding pathways between industry, vocational learning, and applied degrees and championing work-integrated learning (WIL) and industry collaboration as core pillars of student success. Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Development of high impact industry partnerships Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) and Student placement strategy Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) & Alternative Credentialing Market Intelligence and workforce trends Organisational leadership and collaboration Revenue growth and sustainability What we’re looking for include (but not limited to): 8 years of experience in senior industry engagement, workforce development, or higher education leadership roles. Demonstrated track record of developing high-profile, high-impact industry partnerships with large employers, government, and professional bodies. Proven ability to understand workforce and employer needs, identify market gaps and opportunities, and develop tailored strategies to address them. Strong commercial acumen, with experience in revenue generation, partnership structuring, and alternative credentialing models. Proven ability to negotiate complex agreements related to work-integrated learning (WIL), RPL, or corporate education partnerships.
