As an Infection Control Clinical Nurse your responsibilities will include: Collaborate with the Infection Control Coordinator, transitioning from guided to self-directed responsibilities in Infection Prevention & Control practices. Develop an understanding of risk management strategies to protect patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring a healthy environment. Ensure the hospital meets standards, complies with regulations, and strives for continuous improvement. Implement infection control programs to ensure high-quality patient care and staff safety. Utilise external Infection Control Consultants (HICMR) to enforce policies and procedures. Assist with Infection Control education and staff health programs. Minimum Requirements: Authority to Work in Australia Working with Children check (if relevant) Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement Self-motivated with strong teamwork abilities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proactive, motivated, and customer-focused Why Healthscope?
