Job Description
Our Federal Government Client is seeking short-term support from an information or strategic Service Designer or Information Designer to support their Project Integration team in delivering key strategic project artefacts. This role is specifically for a junior to mid-level Information Designer who is ‘on the tools’ and can turn around clear artefacts from a range of sources, requiring at least 2 years' experience with SharePoint.Key tasks and specific/required skillsets: Use software programs to create high-level strategic roadmap visualisations that are visually appealing and easy to understand project artefacts. This includes user journeys, system capabilities, service offerings, and implementation timelines. Conduct a small number of workshops to refine, reuse, and improve existing project material to develop the project’s roadmap. Create a roadmap in a usable and shareable form, both as a hardcopy artefact and linking to source documentation via an electronic version on the Project’s SharePoint . Evaluation criteria: Proven experience in creating design artefacts in a project environment (30%) Ability to work with a team lead to design and deliver workshops (15%) Ability to analyse large amounts of information and synthesise (15%) Skills in information and service design (40%) Latest resume and one-page summary on experience and skills in line with the deliverables for the role are required for full application.The role is on an initial one-month contract with a possible one-month contract extension option . The work is based in Canberra, ACT allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work as agreed.
