We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to assist in the support of our existing networks and infrastructure, and further shape the delivery of infrastructure systems and services to meet both business and customer needs. About the role Reporting to the Technical Lead Infrastructure Engineer, you will work in collaboration with key stakeholders, Enterprise Architecture and Solution Design and Development Teams, to deliver and drive infrastructure and hybrid cloud development, automation, and migration through DevOps practices. Responsibilities include: Maintaining infrastructure and hybrid cloud development and lifecycle standards and patterns supported by quality assurance processes in line with business needs and IMB security and information management requirements Delivery of projects and changes, and the support of production and non-production environments Providing support and resolution to incidents and service requests. About the person Desirable to have min 2 yrs of experience in Cloud engineering using Infra-as-code preferably terraform, configuration management and continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as GIT Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate, influence others, and create documents such as presentations and solution designs Familiarity and experience with core provider services from Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms, preferably having supported deployments on one or more of these platforms (professional level certifications advantageous) An understanding of distributed system design, network architecture, and dependency management Willingness to participate in a rotating after-hours callout roster to provide timely support and service to a 24/7 retail bank.
